4th Grade

All grades work towards earning "music choice rewards" by following classroom expectations and working their hardest. 4th grade earned a reward this past week and were excited to try the Boomwhackers.  These colorful plastic tubes each play a different pitch and we can use them all together to play the melody of a song. We can also use them to explore the science of sound, wavelength, pitch, vibration and rhythm. Aside from being a great tool to teach these concepts, they are just really fun to play!
